The COAS accepts for online publishing complete academic books, such as monographs, textbooks, proceedings, edited books, book summaries, research reports, dissertations, theses, and the other academic editions (COAS Open Books), exclusively written in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).
All manuscripts submitted for publishing should have blind reviewing (3 reviewers). After finishing this process they get regular ISBN for online editions and are published at the COAS website (as a pdf file), in the COAS Bookshelf, at no additional charge. The COAS Open Books are labeled as Open Access edition and will be freely and immediately available worldwide. The COAS deposits all e-books to the digital repository of National Library of Serbia for archiving.
In addition to the open access electronic version, option of a print edition is offered alternatively for those authors who wish to publish a printed book respectively, as the COAS edition or author's edition.
All the COAS Open Books are submitted for listing to the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), Web of Science (WoS), Scopus and to the other international databases.
